Semini Nangi once shaved her hair to be bald. Although it was not a real issue to Semini Nangi there were various views from many quarters. This was disclosed by Semini Nangi to a Sunday paper.”She had said I never covered my bald head with wigs. I only covered my head with cloths and scarfs. She said by drawing sketches on my head she never wanted to defame her pride as a mother. She disclosed in astonishment as she had heard these remarks were made to an actress responsible for viewers. It is very unfortunate to hear such stories unnecessarily”, she revealed.
Now Semini Nangi is sporting a curly hair.It is learnt that when she was young she was having a similar curly hair which was emphasised in the media. This matter as seen by Maggie Akka comparing to those in cricketing personalities. Sanath was popular as he had a bald head. Now little brother Malinga is having curly hair to become popular. Semini Nangi is emulating having curly hair to become popular and to become the No 1 actress in this manner.
