7 low-floor buses from Japan to Sri Lanka

The Government of Japan has donated seven new low-floor buses to enhance the quality of public transport services in Sri Lanka. This donation is another positive step in the ongoing development cooperation between the two countries.

This fleet of buses, provided through the combined contribution of the Government of Japan and the citizens of Yokohama, Japan, was officially handed over to the Government of Sri Lanka. The official handover ceremony was conducted by His Excellency Akio Isomata, the Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka.
