Matara Sale Shop Catches Fire (photos)

An accidental fire occurred this afternoon (29th) at a shop located in front of the Harischandra Fuel Station in Matara city. It is reported that due to this incident, not only the relevant shop known as 'Sale Kade' but also the 'Samara Advertising' institution located nearby have been severely damaged.

The relevant departments that activated immediately after the fire broke out are currently making strenuous efforts to control and extinguish the fire. Furthermore, as a precautionary measure to prevent potential additional damage due to the incident, the electricity supply in Matara city has also been completely disconnected.

The exact cause that led to such a sudden fire in this shop has not yet been revealed.
