Homagama helmet factory catches fire

An emergency fire has broken out at a helmet manufacturing factory located in the Homagama Industrial Zone.

Due to this fire, a thick black smoke has spread throughout the area, causing great unrest among residents in nearby areas.

Six fire engines belonging to the Kotte and Dehiwala Municipal Councils have already been deployed for operations to control the spreading flames.
