A foreign woman fell and was injured while taking a selfie on the upcountry train.

Railway and hospital sources state that a foreign female tourist was injured after falling from a moving train in the Ambewela area on Sunday morning. She met with this accident while attempting to take a selfie photograph during her train journey.

This foreign woman met with the accident while traveling on a train that was running from Nanuoya to Badulla. After falling from the train and sustaining injuries, she was immediately admitted to the Nuwara Eliya Hospital for treatment.
