Kalmunai Headquarters Police have launched investigations into a crime where a fifteen-year-old schoolgirl was abducted in a van and subjected to a gang rape. This serious crime was allegedly committed by a young man, said to be the girl's boyfriend, and his friend.

Kalmunai Headquarters Police officers have recently arrested the main suspect, the twenty-six-year-old boyfriend.

According to police investigations, this young man, along with his friend, took the girl in a van to a secret location and committed this crime. The other suspect involved in the incident has currently fled the area and has been identified by the police as a fifty-year-old sales assistant. Police have already launched operations to apprehend the absconding suspect.

The aggrieved schoolgirl has been hospitalized for necessary medical examinations with the intervention of the police. Further legal steps and investigations regarding the incident are being led by the Children and Women's Bureau of the Kalmunai Headquarters Police.
