The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to increase the retail prices of all fuel types, effective from midnight 12.00 AM on May 02, 2026. This new price revision, which affects the entire island, has been officially announced by the Corporate Communications and Customer Services Unit of the Marketing Bureau of the Corporation.
According to this new price revision, the price of a liter of Lanka White Diesel has been increased by Rs. 10.00, with its new price being Rs. 392.00. Similarly, the price of a liter of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4, which was previously sold for Rs. 443.00, has increased by Rs. 15.00, and its new retail price will be Rs. 458.00. The price of a liter of Lanka Kerosene, used by the general public, has also been increased by Rs. 10.00, making its new price Rs. 265.00.
Petrol prices have also increased under this revision, and accordingly, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane has been increased by Rs. 12.00. Its new selling price is Rs. 410.00. Furthermore, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 has been increased by Rs. 15.00, and consumers will have to pay Rs. 470.00 to purchase a liter of that fuel.
