The world-renowned Ferrari motor car company has officially unveiled its first fully electric supercar at a grand ceremony held in Rome. This latest vehicle has been designed by the British national Sir Jony Ive, who gained immense worldwide fame for creating the iPhone mobile phone, and his design partner Marc Newson.

Already known by many as 'i-Ferrari', its official name is 'Ferrari Luce'. In Italian, 'Luce' means 'light', and the market price of this supercar, including accessories, is estimated to be around five hundred thousand British Pounds (£500,000).

This high-performance electric car can achieve a maximum speed of 193 miles per hour and has the unique ability to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a short period of 2.5 seconds. Furthermore, manufacturers state that it can travel more than 329 miles on a single full charge. This four-door, five-seater hatchback 'Grand Tourer GT' has been introduced to the automotive industry as a green vehicle that emits no smoke into the environment.

Jony Ive, who brought about a revolutionary change in the mobile phone industry by removing buttons and introducing touchscreens, has taken a completely different approach in designing this car. Recognizing the widespread use of touchscreens in modern cars as a dangerous trend that distracts drivers, he has included a large number of traditional physical knobs and toggle switches for the car's interior. The designers have stated that their goal was to deviate from Ferrari's usual design pattern and provide customers with an attractive and unique experience they had not encountered before.

The exterior design of this vehicle is highly unique and features significant changes, leading to reports that it may cause various controversies among traditional Ferrari enthusiasts. Unlike typical electric vehicles, its engine sound is not artificially recreated; instead, frequencies emitted by the car's power system are identified by special sensors and amplified to produce a sound similar to an electric guitar's tone, audible from the outside during driving. However, under normal driving conditions, the car's interior remains completely silent. Additionally, prior to its public unveiling, a private viewing opportunity was arranged for Pope Francis, and it is said that he has given his blessing for this magnificent car.

The British model of the Ferrari Luce, which is already released to the market, featuring right-hand drive, is expected to reach customers in the spring or summer season of next year.
