A net has been cast to bring 89 underworld members, including Shiran Bashik, from Dubai to Sri Lanka.

Security forces have launched a series of special operations to bring back Sri Lankan criminals and drug traffickers hiding abroad. Accordingly, a wide net has been cast to apprehend 89 criminals of various ranks, and it has been revealed that 38 of them are active members of organized drug gangs.

Among this group, special information has been revealed about Shiran Bashik, a prominent drug gang leader who is to be brought back to Sri Lanka, and it has also been revealed that he is responsible for orchestrating approximately 70% of the total drug trafficking operating within the country.




Meanwhile, with the Dubai police launching intensive operations to arrest local criminals hiding in the UAE in large numbers, Sri Lankan underworld members and drug traffickers residing there are in a state of panic. It is reported that they are making strenuous efforts to flee from the UAE to escape the security forces there. Additionally, a group of Sri Lankans residing in Dubai has also been arrested by the local police on charges of creating various news stories supporting Iran and videotaping attack scenes targeting Arab countries and releasing them on social media.

It is reported that the Dubai Police are taking very strict and stringent measures against individuals accused of these serious charges. All valuable assets, including gold jewelry and money, belonging to the arrested individuals are being taken into the custody of the Dubai Police, and steps are being taken to swiftly deport them from the country thereafter. It has been confirmed that many powerful figures in the local underworld and drug network are residing in the UAE and engaging in large-scale drug trafficking in collaboration with Iranian drug traffickers and local mafia groups. The Dubai Police have now uncovered all information regarding Sri Lankan criminals who maintain close ties with such Iranian trafficking gangs, and raids to apprehend them have also been intensified.




According to the latest reports, several powerful criminals wanted in this country, including Shiran Bashik, Alto Dharme, and Ran Malli, who are key operatives in the local drug network, are currently in Dubai Police custody. Furthermore, Dubai authorities have already taken steps to deport nearly fifty Sri Lankan individuals arrested in Dubai for involvement in various crimes and send them back to Sri Lanka.
