The State Department has decided to include the image of President Donald Trump on new American passports issued to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States. The President's name and image are already featured on various official buildings, new currency coins, and national park passes, and this latest step is considered another extension of that.

Although the official announcement issued by the State Department mentioned a special passport, it did not state that the President's image would be included. However, the renders released by them confirm that the President's official photograph from his second term is printed on one page of the passport. This photograph is superimposed on the 1776 Declaration of Independence document of the original thirteen colonies, with his signature in golden letters above it. The next page of the passport also includes a painting depicting the historic moment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

It is noteworthy that, apart from a depiction of the Mount Rushmore monument, no image of any president has ever been featured on American passports in this manner before. According to American diplomatic spokesperson Tom Pigott, this new edition will utilize specially designed artistic illustrations and more accurate images, while maintaining the American passport's reputation as the world's most secure passport and its security features. However, it has not yet been clarified whether this special anniversary passport will be issued to everyone applying for new passports this year, or only to those who request it.

Concurrently, the United States Mint and Bureau of Engraving and Printing have announced that, in honor of the nation's 250th anniversary, both regular one-dollar coins featuring the current president's image and special commemorative gold coins will be issued. Marking the first time in history that banknotes will be issued with the signature of a sitting president, the Treasury Department is also working to issue new banknotes with Trump's signature. Furthermore, with the aim of celebrating the anniversary of independence, the National Park Service has taken steps to include the President's image on annual national park passes starting from January 1st.

This is not the first time the President's personal marks have been added to federal property and documents in this manner. The Pentagon has decided to build a new class of warships named after him, and the governing board of the 'Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts,' built in memory of an assassinated former president, has approved adding the name "Trump" to its title. The United States Institute of Peace, an institution affiliated with the State Department, has also been renamed 'The Trump Institute.' Additionally, his name has been used for a new visa category introduced for foreigners willing to invest between one and five million dollars to obtain permanent residency in America.

During his second term, the President has introduced several new projects. Under these, a new website named 'TrumpRx.gov' has been created for purchasing discounted medicines, and a new savings account system called 'Trump accounts,' introduced by the White House itself for children, has also been launched.
