All arrangements have been made for the no-confidence motion submitted by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya party against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakodi to be debated in Parliament on the upcoming 10th.

All Members of Parliament representing the government party have already been strictly informed to refrain from engaging in any foreign travel on the day this crucial debate is held and to compulsorily remain in the Colombo area.

Political sources further confirm that the final vote on the relevant motion is scheduled to take place on the evening of the 10th, the day of the debate.

Meanwhile, a large number of active opposition political parties have already expressed their agreement to support this motion brought against the minister and to vote in favor of it.
