As the war situation in the Middle East region enters its sixth day, Israel and Iran have launched a new series of attacks against each other.

Israeli forces have launched severe attacks on Lebanon and Iran, with numerous powerful explosions reported across Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly launched counter-attacks on Israel, with air raid sirens sounding in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Numerous explosions were also seen in the Israeli sky as Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted in the air.

The impact of this crisis is spreading to other parts of the region, with explosions also reported from Qatar and Bahrain. Azerbaijan has stated that it was attacked by two Iranian drones. Furthermore, a fuel tanker in the Northern Gulf region has been damaged, and Iran has claimed responsibility for attacking an American vessel.

Amidst this severe crisis, the first flight organized by the British government to evacuate its citizens from the region has been delayed due to a technical fault. The flight, which was scheduled to depart from Oman last night, is now expected to depart today. Speaking to the BBC, one passenger described the situation as a "complete joke".

Meanwhile, lawmakers in the United States have voted against a proposal to limit Donald Trump's power to take further military action in Iran.
