Apple has officially unveiled its 2026 March product lineup, introducing the latest iPhone 17e smartphone and the updated iPad Air device with the M4 chip. Pre-orders for these latest devices will begin on March 4th, and customers will be able to officially purchase them starting March 11th.
The highly anticipated iPhone 17e model, building on the success of its predecessor, the iPhone 16e, has been released to the market as a device offering top-tier features at an affordable price. Launched with a starting price of US$599, a significant advantage for consumers is the doubling of its base storage capacity to 256GB. Additionally, a 512GB capacity model has been introduced, and it can be purchased in Black, White, and the new Soft Pink colors.
This smartphone is powered by the latest A19 chip, which provides full support for Apple Intelligence features. Equipped with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, it utilizes Ceramic Shield 2 technology, which triples scratch resistance and minimizes reflections. Furthermore, it includes a 48-megapixel Fusion camera system with 2x telephoto capability for enhanced optical quality and the ability to record 4K Dolby Vision videos.
The much-anticipated MagSafe wireless charging technology has also been introduced to this device, which features a long battery life, USB-C connectivity, and the latest iOS 26 operating system. Utilizing Apple's new C1X modem, it provides cellular connectivity twice as fast as before, and includes emergency features like Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, and Find My, which operate via satellite technology. Compared to the main iPhone 17 series, which starts at $799, this is an excellent alternative for average consumers who do not require the highest technical specifications.
The other major device introduced at this product launch is the latest iPad Air model with the powerful M4 chip. This chip, previously used in the recently released iPad Pro models, significantly boosts the device's performance without increasing its price. Maintaining its attractive previous design, these devices are released in both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, priced at $599 and $799 respectively.
The new M4 chip delivers 30% faster performance than the previous M3 iPad Air models and 2.3 times faster than the M1 models. It also includes a more powerful Neural Engine for artificial intelligence tasks, as well as hardware-accelerated ray tracing technology for gaming and video editing. To make multitasking smoother, its unified memory has been increased from 8GB to 12GB, and it works seamlessly with the latest iPadOS 26.
Further expanding connectivity options, the new iPad Air introduces the N1 chip supporting Wi-Fi 7, the C1X modem for cellular connections, Bluetooth 6, and Thread technology. Featuring all-day battery life and a Liquid Retina display, this device fully supports Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, and can be purchased by consumers in Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Gray colors. It has become an extremely suitable device for students, creators, business professionals, and gamers who seek high performance without paying a Pro-level price.
