Water supply to Moratuwa, Dehiwala, Kolonnawa suspended due to an emergency breakdown.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that water supply has been suspended to several areas from Ambatale to Dehiwala due to an emergency breakdown in a main water supply pipeline.

Accordingly, this water cut will directly affect the areas of Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, Soysapura, Ratmalana, Galkissa, Dehiwala, Wellawatta, Pamankada, Mulleriyawa, and Kolonnawa. The board also states that water will be supplied to the Battaramulla area under low pressure.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board further states that they expect to restore the water supply before 6.00 AM tomorrow (19).
