The book 'Amba Yahaluwo' was illegally copied.

The Criminal Investigation Department has taken steps to arrest a businessman on suspicion of displaying and selling copies of the fraudulently printed book 'Amba Yahaluwo' in his shop. This suspect was apprehended during an investigation conducted by the Commercial Crime Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department, following a complaint received.

The suspect, who runs a bookstore in the Kalutara South area, is 39 years old. The complaint further stated that these counterfeit works were displayed for sale in the said bookstore. The arrested suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate's Court for further legal proceedings, and Commercial Crime Investigation Division 2 of the Criminal Investigation Department is conducting further investigations into the incident.
