The Department of Examinations announces that arrangements have been made to hold the 2025 (2026) G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination at 3,545 examination centers island-wide from February 17 to February 26, 2026.

The examination admission cards for school applicants appearing for this year's examination have already been issued to the respective Zonal Education Offices, and principals must meet the Deputy or Assistant Director of Education in charge of examinations at their Zonal Education Office to collect these admission cards.

The Department of Examinations states that examination admission cards for private applicants have been sent to their personal addresses by post, and if any information including name, subjects, or medium on the admission cards needs to be amended, facilities have been provided online for this purpose.

Accordingly, principals have the opportunity to make the necessary changes to the admission cards of school applicants by logging into the www.doenets.lk website using the username and password provided to them for admission card amendments.

Private applicants also have the ability to make the relevant amendments by visiting the above website and entering their National Identity Card number. The Department of Examinations strongly emphasizes that all amendment activities must be completed before 12:00 midnight on February 10, 2026, and this period will not be extended for any reason.
