US accused of using 'sonic' weapons in Venezuela - Trump names acting president there

Serious allegations have been made that the American military used a secret weapon emitting 'Sonic' or high-powered sound waves during an operation launched to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The Venezuelan Ministry of Interior has confirmed that about 100 security personnel were killed in this attack, and experts say that such physical harm can be caused by 'Directed Energy' weapons using microwave or laser energy.

Amidst these events, US President Donald Trump posted on social media, declaring himself the acting president of Venezuela and stating that he would hold that office from January 2026. The US cited Maduro's rule as a threat to international security, drug trafficking, and immigration issues as reasons for this urgent action.
