Sri Lanka's Sabina to America for the Mrs. World competition

Mrs. Sabina Yusuf, representing Sri Lanka at the 41st Mrs. World pageant to be held in Las Vegas, USA, departed from the island this morning (21) from Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.

This international competition, with the participation of contestants from over 60 countries worldwide, is scheduled to be held grandly in Las Vegas, USA, from tomorrow (22) until the 29th.

It is reported that she departed for Doha, Qatar, this morning around 3:00 AM on Qatar Airways flight QR-659 to participate in the competition, and from there, she is scheduled to travel to Las Vegas by another flight.

To wish her well, a group including Chandimal Jayasinghe, the National Director of the pageant, Rukmal Senanayake, the National Coach, Tharaka Gurukanda, the Language and Personality Coach, and Ishadi Amanda, who won the runner-up title at the 2024 Mrs. World pageant, were present at the airport.

In addition, a large number of Mrs. Sabina Yusuf's relatives and well-wishers were also seen gathered at the airport premises to encourage and bid her farewell.
