The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has decided to revise fuel prices effective from midnight on January 05, 2026. According to this price revision, the prices of several types of fuel have been increased, while there has been no change in the price of one type of fuel.
According to the new price revision, the price of a liter of Lanka White Diesel has been increased by Rs. 2.00, making its new price Rs. 279.00. Similarly, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 has increased by Rs. 5.00, with its new price recorded as Rs. 340.00. Furthermore, the price of a liter of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 has seen an increase of Rs. 5.00, raising its new price to Rs. 323.00. The price of a liter of Lanka Kerosene has also been increased by Rs. 2.00, with its new price being Rs. 182.00.
However, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation states that there has been no price change for Lanka Petrol 92 Octane in this price revision. Accordingly, a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane will continue to be sold at its current price of Rs. 294.00.
