An unidentified dead body in the 18-story building under construction in Ambalangoda

The body of an unidentified male has been found inside an 18-story building under construction in the Olagama area, which falls under the Ambalangoda Police Division. The identity has not yet been confirmed.

Police officers found the body on the 15th floor of the said building during a search conducted based on information received by the Ambalangoda Police Station.

The police state that the body was found yesterday (02) afternoon, and no information regarding the identity of the deceased has been confirmed yet.

The body has been placed in the mortuary of Balapitiya Hospital for post-mortem examination, and Ambalangoda Police have commenced further investigations into the incident.
