Sajith Premadasa leads a special discussion between UNP and SJB

A major discussion was held between senior members of the United National Party (UNP) and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa. During this, attention was focused on the national challenges facing the country, as well as formulating policy strategies aimed at the future.

In addition to SJB leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa, UNP Deputy Leader Mr. Ruwan Wijewardene and senior members Mr. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and Mr. Naveen Dissanayake also participated in this meeting.

Commenting on this in a post on the 'X' social media network, Mr. Premadasa stated, "Productive and creative discussions were held regarding the challenges facing our motherland. The importance of formulating innovative policy recommendations to efficiently and effectively achieve national goals was also emphasized here."

It is noteworthy that this discussion was held amidst increasing talk of a possible alliance between the SJB and the UNP.
