Basil Rajapaksa, the Sri Lanka People's Front founder and the head of the Presidential Task Force on Poverty Alleviation, who is in the United States, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 23rd.
According to party sources, Mr Rajapaksa is scheduled to hold several rounds of talks with party leaders and activists on several issues after returning to Sri Lanka last month. He said he was leaving for the US for personal reasons in the run-up of the island's travel restrictions.
