Knowing well about suspending graduate appointments ... an election trick

The elections committee has taken steps today (04) to suspend the training programme offered for graduates to be recruited for jobs under the 2000 scheme beginning from March 1st and the graduates national centre has released an announcement saying that this is an election trick that is launched all the while the government being aware about
this.

The government knowing well that parliament is to be dissolved on March 2nd in parliament; granting appointments to graduates on the same day it seems that it is a case of frustrating the graduates even further. Whatever it is, if at all the government had a genuine interest in giving jobs for unemployed graduates, it is a clear reality that the government had a period of 3 months such as November 2019, December and till January 31st.

In the same way if recruitment to jobs was to function smoothly, there was sufficient time available to secure approval of the number approved by the public service commission and subsequently of the elections commission. Without taking any of those matters into consideration, it should be pointed out that the government has acted in a manner that provides the opportunity across the elections commission thus causing a big injustice to 56,000 graduates.

The graduates national centre has decided to to discuss whether there is a possibility of reconsidering the decisions elections commission has taken regarding the physical and mental pressure inflicted on members of families of 56,000 graduates and their families.
