A frontline bank in this country has launched an inquiry into a big-scale racket of a case of fraud which is being operated across an app (software) to pinch funds in bank accounts. A separate investigation has been carried out by Naulla police and the Naulla relevant bank branch on the belief that money has been taken from the bank account of one Asanka Sandaruwan living in Meegolla, Nalanda, Naulla.
This person Asanka Sandaruwan's (31) six year old child, Devmina Sashika Sandakelum was
subjected to an an accident on October 18th last year and the board of doctors had to amputate the left leg after that accident. The fathere who was rendered helpless because of the accident, sought the support of asking for financial aid from 'Mawbima" newspaper to publish a letter in that respect and financial aid received as a result of the letter published, had been fraudulently pilfered by someone from that account; it is stated in the complaint lodged with police and the relevant bank.

When inquired from the manager of Naulla branch bank, he and officers engaged in investigations have said that they suspect that some person has pinched the funds in that account through an app in the smart mobile phone and that an inquiry is underway in that connection and that they would unravel as to what has happened in that context. The main bank office has started an inquiry in this respect and that according to what this helpless father says, if at all somebody has fraudulently taken monies from his account ... a serious issue would emerge about the safety of bank accounts. Several bank managers too said so.
