Protests in India because of Trump's arrival

While United States president Donald Trump was on a two-day tour in India, a big uproar has emerged. A day before Trump's arrival, a large crowd was seen protesting in the town of India's capital, New Delhi protesting against the new citizenship law and to disperse the crowd police had to use tear gas. Modi has enforced the citizenship amendment act in India loosening the path for non-
Muslims of majority communities in neighbouring countries and two groups pro and against that decision had launched these protests.

Protests launched on Sunday hundreds of people who were in favour of this law entered into a clash with those who opposed it and there were reports of the two parties with the two parties concerned attacking each other throwing stones in Maujpur area, the eastern part of the city. Though Trump's arrival actually was not the direct cause for this uproar ... on his occasion where India stands prominent in the foreign media; the protestors had anticipated Trump would go into talks about religious freedom in the country with Modi all because Trump happens to be an anti-Muslim element.

Right at the start of the Indian tour, Trump and his wife Melania visited the Taj Mahal they joined in the welcome celebrations organised at Sarda Patel Cricket Grounds in Moterra under the welcome logo 'Namaste Trump'. Having considered Modi's skill in holding mega rallies, Trump had informed that he wishes to address a large gathering and under such circumstances it was organised. In the meantime, several non-governmental organisations and anti-imperialist Indian communist parties have organised several protests throughout India against he American president and what was depicted was the message 'Chase Trump away from India'.
