Cab in accident at Menikhinna -- four youngsters embrace death

A serious accident took place early this morning (8) in Malpana area, along Menikhinna road, Digana and four persons died in the accident. 

What police said was that this road accident happened early this morning at about 1.35.  Police say that a Bolero-type cab had veered off the road, not being able to control its speed  and had crashed into a pile of concrete blocks which ultimately resulted in this accident. Four young people of the

ages between 17 and 19, residents of Trincomalee, Uhana and Mahiyangana have lost their lives as a consequence, it was reported.
