President's approval to give Bhathiya and Santhush .. director posts in government

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has granted approval to bestow director positions to a popular singing duo Bhathiya Jayakody and Santhush Weeraman at ministry of aviation and tourism. This singing duo who gave outright support during last presidential election campaign by singing songs to elect Gotabhaya the president have been recommended to be selected to the board of
directors from among institutions affiliated to the field of tourism. 

In this connection, secretary to the president P.B. Jayasundera has informed secretary of aviation and tourism, Mrs. S.M. Mohommed in writing and Iraj Weeraratna's name too appears in it. As such, the letter of appointment has already been given to Iraj.
