"Not like John Amaratunga ... you'll can talk with me directly" -- Iraj

Music creative artiste Iraj Weeraratna who incidentally has been bestowed a director post in government these days and who has been talked about in the social media has addressed the public by coming 'live' on facebook, in a luxurious vehicle and donning a pair of sunglasses. On that occasion he invites the public to contact him over their problems and that as he has direct contact with president, he is able to solve them. 

This is what he says on that occasion: "I got an invitation from president to work for the tourist board. The UNP camp are slinging mud at me because of this. I would never expect petrol. diesel or any allowance. I have a vehicle. I can live well. I accepted this on behalf of the country. When I accepted this position, a lot of people in the country are sending me videos saying, 'I have this problem' and so on. I will try to find a solution to these problems. Anybody in Sri Lanka has direct access to me ... across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram. You can have them solved. Send me the videos. I tried during the past too. 

I have not taken state vehicles. No allowances. I spend money on my own. Help me on this matter. Even at this moment a lot of people are sending me texts. At this moment there is supposed to be an issue in Uda Walawe. I saw yesterday that there is a problem in Ella. 

In the past you worked with John Amaratunga. Maybe you didn't get a chance of talking with him. But you can talk with me. I can speak to president and and solve problems. You can tag me .. connect me on facebook, instagram and say anything. I will be able to do a lot of things in future. I'll be able to get down the YouTube icon to Sri Lanka in future.
