With the Chinese lady suffering from the fatal corona virus being admitted to IDH hospital ... normal patients warded there have gone back to their homes, it was reported. Further, a big shortage of patients coming daily to the out-patients department was to be seen, hospital sources say. Under these circumstances it came to be known that by now most wards have become vacant while authorities have taken steps to introduce a special sanitary methodology all over the hospital.
It is understood that blood samples of the lady who is infected by the corona virus has been directed to a foreign country for further examination. Rumours regarding corona patients have begun to increase and much of the information that corona infected patients have been admitted to various hospitals in the island are false, the government has announced. It is mentioned in an announcement by director general of information in government, Mr. Nalaka Kaluwewa that the government is conducting a survey about these rumours are being broadcast so that causes an unnecessary fear among public. The said announcement further adds that attention should be focused only on official broadcasts released by the state.
