Husband laments and rolls on floor when paramour leaves by taking two wives away!

An incident where a Telugu national laments by rolling on the ground asking for his wife who went away with a paramour is reported from Thambuththegama police.

A Telugu couple in Thambuththegama Kudagama had entered into marriage after a courtship of five years. A daughter was born from this marriage and she is now 7 years of age. As time passed by, the woman had struck up a secret alliance with another Telugu man who was engaged in snake-charming
as his mode of income. Last month this woman with her elder brother and latter's wife have set off to Kataragama to sell gram and the brother has noticed this woman frequently having a chat with her illicit lover   and had dashed the mobile phone on the ground.

What she had then done was to get hold of another phone and call her paramour and get him down to Matara town and rent out a room for a few days. On the other hand what the illicit lover had in turn told his wife was that he has to leave to a distant place for his profession.

The legal husband who was unaware of any of these happenings had been staying at home looking after the daughter and during this period he had come to know about his wife who set off to Kataragama to sell gram. Later on according to a complaint made to Thambuththegama police by this husband, police summoned both parties and at the inquiry that followed, the legal husband has asked for his wife; however she has refused to give up her paramour. Incidentally, at that point what she had said was that though sle lived several years with her legal husband, she had not got the pleasure she gets from her illicit lover. She also added that though there was no illicit attachment with this pramour, it became a reality because of her husband's and relatives' suspicion.

The paramour's wife at this time is suffering from a cancer and  the sick woman too has made a strong plea from police to get her husband back to her. However, ironically the illicit lover's request had been to have both his legal wife and illicit wife remain in his home. In this connection there had been no objection from the legal wife. Thus when the legal husband was wailing and rolling on the ground, the illicit lover and had gone out from police with his wife and illicit wife too. Officer in charge of Children and Women bureau, sub-inspector Mr. Sunil of Thambuththegama police then instructed that a civil case be filed in courts.
