Will Sri Lanka move into semi-finals?

The first round of the 2019 world cup this time is being conducted in a manner that all teams and rivals would be playing against each other. Under these conditions, 4 teams will be chosen from among them and after the two semi-finals played between July 9th and Jul11th, the finals has been scheduled for July 14th.

The bulk of the games of the tournament has already been played, the team who is to be chosen for the semi-final round has ripened. According to the points score sheet Australia and New Zealand are
heading the list and it is difficult to assume that they would go to the backseat. England and India are next in line. If from among these 4 England or India happens to withdraw, hopes have been kindled in cricket fans that Sri Lanka could try to get hold of one end with this triumph attained yesterday (21). England should focus their attention on future defeats.

England still have three games to play and that is with Australia,  India and New Zealand. It is a challenge for England to take on the 3 rival teams who have displayed smart gaming skills on the field. If one or two of those games is victorious, a fortunate environment will be created for Sri Lanka to enter the semi-final. The next three games Sri Lanka have to face are against West Indies, South Africa and India. It is not much of a difficult task to face the other two teams than India. If the enthusiasm observed yesterday is continuously retained, some hopes could be entertained in winning the two games against West Indies and South Africa. If  England happens to be defeated, it is apparent that Sri Lanka as well as Bangladesh has the opportunity of profiting from it. In days ahead, Bangladesh is faced with the challenge of winning against India and Pakistan. The next rebel would be Bangladesh or Sri Lanka is to be decided upon from matches to come.
