Indrani Senaratna bids goodbye to us forever
Reputed singer Mrs. Indrani Senaratna passed away this afternoon at Colombo general hospital. At time of death she was 83 years old. Mrs. Indrani Senaratna was the beloved wife of deceased Sisira Senaratna, distinguished singer and music director.

She actually entered the field of music as Indrani Wijebandara across Saraswathi Mandapaya of the Sri Lanka Radio Ceylon and later exchanged rings with Sisira Senaratna.

Mrs. Indrani Senaratna is the mother of three children. Mr. Sisira Senaratna incidentally passed away in 2015. Presently her body lies at Jayaratna funeral parlour and her final rights is scheduled to be performed on Thursday 27th.
