Scare about Buddhists being targeted as attack ... because of robe found at a non-religious place 

Incidents of white cloth and Buddhist robes being reported, a fear has enveloped the public that attacks are in the offing once more and that it could targets on Buddhist places of worship and Buddhist crowds. 

A large piece of cloth similar to a robe was found at a non-religious centre by an operation launched in Kuliyapitiya, Yayawaththa area yesterday on an operation launched by police in unison with the
army, police say. In addition, some apparel similar to what is worn by the army and several shoes similar to that of the army were found. A person in the vicinity has been taken into custody. 

An incident was reported where bundles of white cloth were purchased in Mirigama. With most of those bundles being found, only 2 other bundles have still not been found, it was reported. President's media division states that instructions have been sent out to the tri-forces and inspector general of police by President, Maithripala Sirisena to instal additional officers for the safety of all religious places of worship and schools.
