"Great injustice done to those who died -- will go for legal action!" -- Cardinal 

Colombo archbishop, Malcom cardinal Ranjith has said that he would request for the deceased in the Easter Sunday attack. The cardinal further said that he is now left only with the option of the judiciary. 

The archbishop who mentioned that great injustice has been done to relatives of those deceased in Easter Sunday attack finally said that it is not possible to wash his hands away and get to a side because of that. But, he said that leadership in the country has however resorted to a procedure of
washing their hands off in this connection. In the meantime, archbishop Malcom cardinal Ranjith further said that the government and security forces should look into as to who is behind the incident which happened recently and should take action regarding same.  He also mentioned that a Sinhala culture exists among the public of Sri Lanka and that it has been founded on Buddhist concepts and teachings and that it is not possible to say that Sri Lanka is not affiliated to Buddhism. It was also stated by cardinal that Sri Lanka was a country that was structured according to Sinhala Arya culture and that when travelling in the skies above the country, what can mostly be seen are tanks and dagabos. The cardinal finally stated that a door to door operations has been launched in Negombo by now and that it is a vital security procedure.
