Three-wheel driver who showed hand-gestures to lady at Bambalapitiya ... arrested
What was depicted in the video that created a sensation within social media last week was an incident where a three-wheel driver showed obscene hand-gestures to a lady inside a vehicle near Bambalapitiya traffic signals. The lady has managed to video the pressure of the said driver from her mobile phone and has forwarded it to the facebook, implying that the nuisance of this nature to females travelling on the roads are yo be seen in a big way.
Most people who valued this lady's revelation while the police took steps to make an inquiry into the
incident as three-wheel number and the person concerned were clearly seen in that video. As such, it was found that the said three-wheeler belonged to one Sinnaih Sri Kanthan living in Galaha, Delthota and the number of the three-wheeler was CP-AAX-4792 and that he was driving this three-wheeler registered in Colombo.

Having been taken into custody he was produced before Colombo additional magistrate Shalani Perera and was sent to remand prison till 1st of next month.
