Someone pinches traffic OIC's wife's pocket ... when he was on verge of death!

A very emotional piece of news is reported of an instance when officer in charge of traffic division, Borella police who passed away recently was battling with life and death at the intensive care unit before his death when in the meantime the purse of his wife with Rs. one lakh was pinched in hospital. 

Mrs. Anoma Hathurusingha, wife of deceased police officer in charge said in deep sorrow that it was his salary and monetary contributions of his police brothers that was given to her that was so robbed.
She had been in deep shock near the door of the intensive care unit at Colombo National Hospital at which time this person who robbed the money by opening her purse and then has subsequently tossed the empty purse into a garbage basket and it was recovered later that way, she almost lamented. 

She finally said that as CCTV cameras at the said premises were out of action and as a result the person responsible for this robbery cannot be located, she has taken steps to notify hospital authorities about this incident.
