Sanjeewa Priyankara, a businessman has released an announcement saying that though a misleading impression has been launched across YouTube and other internet media that he is Makandure Madush. Because most people have been taken for a ride thinking that it is true as a result of his beard and appearance of his face, he has faced a big inconvenience.

Among that crowd apart from Amal and Ryan, 'Karaoke' Vasantha and this Sanjeewa Priyankara are in their midst and because of the latter's beard and long face, some people have come to think that it is Makandure Madush. This video has been telecast as a video where Madush too danced in the company of Amal and Ryan by those who created Facebook Posts and YouTube videos without being equipped with much knowledge about their production as such.
However, he was not Madush in any case; but only Sanjeewa Priyankara, an owner of a car sale in Dehiwala. How he enjoyed himself with Amal, Ryan, Vasantha and other friends at Hotel Hilton has become the background for the said video. Naming him as Madush has made him leave a post as being forced into much inconvenience as follows:
'I have been thrown into great inconvenience during these days. Some months before this I, Sanjeewa Priyankara have been spotlighted as Makandure Madush who is seen with Amal Perera in the video captured at Colombo Hilton in the company of Amal Perera, Ryan van Royan and a few other friends. Because of this, I, my wife and two children are under great pressure and inconvenience'.
