Youngest son of Opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to enter into marriage next Wednesday (23). He weds his lover Miss Titiyana Livera with whom he was romancing for sometime. 

This being the first wedding of the sons of Mahinda Rajapaksa and the duo are lovers who were subjected to much talk in the country have gained much attention of the public. In any case, all
parties have made it a point to keep details about the marriage a secret until the last moment. 

News about this marriage was exposed to the media a few weeks before this because of an invitation card and it was mentioned there that the wedding would be held at a hotel in Tangalle. Whatever it is, a day after that Rohitha has stated that the said invitation card was a bogus one; but had not rejected the date of the wedding as such. Later on, Mahinda Rajapaksa's secretary too has confirmed the date of marriage, but has nothing beyond it. 

In the meantime, Rohitha Rajapaksa who gave an interview to Sunday Divaina newspaper today (20) has mentioned that the wedding will be consumed on 23rd Wednesday and details about his girl friend. In the process, the Colombo Port reveals that after news about Mahinda Rajapaksa's marriage was notified, a leading businessman in Sri Lanka has ordered an expensive Aston Martin type of vehicle from abroad and the car had arrived in the island last week.

* Rohan Rajapaksa means ... a loving fiance ... so isn't it in a different way that you propose marriage to your girl friend?

Yes. I propose marriage to her on top of the highest mountain in Africa. Usually I I travel with my friends quite often. To tell the truth, we love challenges a lot. So we climbed Africa's highest mountain also as a trip. It is for that reason I, my girl friend and some friends used to climb mountains from time to time. Whatever it is, what I thought was that this was the best time for me to propose marriage to her. So I proposed.

* For how long is this love story?
 
Now it is quite some time. Actually both of us have got to understand each other well and we are in love very much.

* We came to know that wedding bells are going to ring for you. Aren't you going to get married recently?
 
(Smiling) ... Yes ... we will be getting married on January 23rd.
