Field Marshal Mr. Sarath Fonseka makes accusation against President saying that his fundamental rights have been violated and by President removing his name from the list of ministers sent to by Prime Minister and that he hopes to file action in court, it is reported. Mr. Fonseka's secretary, Captain Senaka Haripriya de Silva has informed media about this.

Mr. Fonseka has said that Prime Minister Ranil has promised the position of member of parliament

which he was holding and that his name was on the list of names sent to President n 19th evening and that when the President deleted 6 names in the said list, his name was included in that list, he has said.

They had argued that this was some injustice done on purpose based on a personal misunderstanding. Information has circulated that Sarath Fonseka criticising a statement against President that he (the latter) had been in charge of duties during the final week and was responsible to bring the war to a close in May, 2009 and that the misunderstanding between Mahinda (with whom President Maithri is on good terms with) and Fonseka which this decision may have influenced this particular decision.
