Prime Minister Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha has made a special speech when parliament convened today.

What Prime Minister said on that occasion was that there was a special programme to bring down prices of fuel at the last stages of the last government. The Prime Minister said that a litre of

petrol Octane 92 would be Rs. 125 with a reduction of Rs. 10 and a litre of petrol Octane 95 will be Rs. 149 ... less by Rs. 10. In the same way, a litre of Lanka Auto diesel will be Rs. 101, reduced by Rs. 05 and that a litre of Super Diesel will be Rs. 121, a reduction of Rs. 10, Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha further added. The Prime Minister said that the minister of finance will be further making an explanation in this connection.
