Female gang who robbed Rs.1 lakh 12,000 in Piliyandala -- CCTV 

A mother in Piliyandala has lodged a complaint with police about an incident where she has been robbed of Rs.1 lakh and 12,000 from her handbag by a gang of female gang of robbers. 

This female gang of robbers who had spied her bringing cash from the bank had in fact pursued her and had been pressing around the cashier of a shop to which she had entered and then stretched out
the arm under protection of an umbrella, opening her handbag. This act of robbing was revealed on the CCTV of the shop. 

The ang of robbers had operated in a shrewd manner and had comprised of four females and a small girl too. They had wilfully got around the victim in the busy environment prevailing in the shop and had got about their business as if they were professionals well experienced in the trade. The robbery has taken place at the wholesale shop known as Nihal Stores in Piliyandala. Mrs. T.M.I.
