A video of the occasion where tele-actress Thisuri Yuvanika entered into marriage today at Colombo Jaica Hilton Hotel, appears below. She took hands with Suraj Wijeysingha who was her lover for a period of time. 

She has made the following comments about him: "We were friends even from small days. The two families too know each other.
He is attached to the Merchant Navy. He watches my dramas ... even makes criticisms about those. So there is good support from him. But of course when love scenes appear ... he grumbles a bit. As I know about acting and if I take part in good roles ... there is no problem with him.  

There is nothing lacking in the advice and instructions of my mother and father for the simple reason that I got married. In the future also it will be the same. What happens is that another person also will be joining in for that. I will work only if I get a character that I like. If not I won't work. I will check to see whether I have to do some thing ... and there is a figure that I charge and if all that falls in line ... I will undertake it. Even if that is so, before it is broadcast, the channels should be in favour. There are about four such dramas to be broadcast. Even after marriage that selection will be the same. If I get roles like that, I will go ahead. If not, I will stay back home".
