In future it will be only one leader for Yahapalanaya ...
I and Chathura will be moving to the UNP -- Minister Rajitha
Minister and doctor Rajitha Senaratna says that the Yahapalanaya regime which divided into two sections as the Prime Minister or the President would in future operate under one leadership. The Health Minister who expressed his ideas on the occasion when the Avurudu Asiriya programme
was organised by Rajitha Senaratna Foundation at Aluthgama town council playground last afternoon (08) had this to say:
"Ministers who voted against the Prime Minister at the no-confidence cannot remain in the cabinet ... it is not ethical. But those ministers cling to those posts. The Prime Minister says not to. Such ministers are not wanted in the cabinet. They should have self-confidence to forego their privileges and ministerial portfolios. State-power should be there to serve the public. Though our humanity is very important, power when it comes in terms of service, that also is of great significance. If somebody suffers as a result of power ... there is no use in that power. The Yahapalana government would henceforth operate under one leader, under one procedure". The Minister at this point also said that Minister Rajitha Senaratna and Mp Chathura Senaratna too have expressed desire to join the United National Party.
