Death caused by drowning after intoxication -- death certificate ... final rites delayed till Tuesday as manner of Sridevi's death turns into mystery!

According to latest reports received about manner in which super star breathed her last in Dubai last Satuday it has now turned out to be a mystery with several suspicious factors surrounding the tragedy. Though early reports said that Sridevi had passed away from a heart attack at a relative's wedding festival in Dubai, it was subsequently revealed that

the death has really occured at a hotel where she had been staying 3 days after the said wedding and it had been in the bathroom of the hotel.

As reported, the incident is as follows: Sridevi and her younger daughter Kushi had come with the husband Boney last week to Dubai to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohi Marva who happened to be a brother-in-law of Sridevi by relationship. The wedding was held at a hotel in Dubai last Wednesday (21) and after the wedding was over, in the company of daughter Kushi had proceeded to India ir order to attend the birthday party of a friend of his. Sridevi has of course stayed back at the luxury hotel of Jumeirah Emirates Towers for some days. The reason for her to remain back was to attend an auction which marketed some pictures created by her which were to be auctioned.

In the process, Boney had got the bright idea of giving a surprise to his wife and with that intention in mind he had returned back to Dubai, unknown to his wife. He had thus arrived at her hotel on Saturday. She of course was really taken aback by her husband's sudden return and later on he had proposed to her of going to Restaurant Zuma to have dinner together. Sridevi had later proceeded to the bathroom to get prepared and Boney had waited for her for well over 15 minutes for her to return; but was confused as to why she did not return. He had finally tapped at the door and as there was no response, being worried about all this had then broken open the door and entered the bathroom. Boney had later provided evidence to the fact that Sridevi was found drowned in the bathtub. Even at the time she was admitted to hospital, she had passed away, Dubai Rashid Hospital later informed.

Her post mortem report was released last Monday (26) evening. What was stated in the

Dubai Preventive Medical Report was that the cause of her death was 'accidental drowning'. In fact what is said in a Judicial Medical report of Asian News International (ANI) of India is that an alcohol content was detected in her body and is suspected that being intoxicated, had been unable to control equilibrium of her body and finally has drowned in the bath tub. As suspected indications are available where the incident is concerned, Government of Dubai Media Office had reported that Dubai officials would be investigating matters on a legal perspective in this connection. Actor Anil Kapoor, a relative of Sridev has exprssed his ideas to Dubai's Khaleej Times saying "We totally went into a shock over this. There's no history of heart attacks either in her or in anybody of her family".

Whatever it is, as a result of these investigative activities, Sridevi's body which was to be flown back to India was delayed until Tuesday. A special private jet was arranged free of charge by Indian millionaire businessman, Anil Ambhani to bring Sridevi's body to her mother country, it was published in the media.

Because of this tragic death the whole of Bollywood has been thrown into confusion and by now all shooting activities in the cinema field have been suspended, Indian reports say. After Sridevi's unanticipated bereavement, things have turned into a mystery and as a consequence, various rumours too had begun to circulate within the social media. One such rumour is that 'Boney had killed her' while another story says that 'someone has poisoned her'. In the meantime, a Gulf newspaper has revealed yet another unconfirmed piece of news to the effect that at the time Sridevi had died in the bathroom, Boney had not been present and that since there was no response from Sridevi, the hotel authorities had broken open the door when they found her body. Further matters would be revealed in the future according to investigations connected to the incident, in the future.
