Judge Ilanchelian breaks down on behalf of deceased police sergeant Sarath!

Mr. Sarath Hemachandra is the deceased Sergeant who died after facing gunshots yesterday (22) having extending his duties to provide security to Jaffna High Court judge. He was instrumental in rescuing the judge by counter attacking the assailant bravely at the moment this shooting took place, thus displaying his dedication. However because of a gunshot which struck his

abdomen he suffered death a few hours later, most unfortunately. The sight of Jaffna High Court Judge who paid a visit to deceased police sergeant's wife and relatives, fell down at her feet and expressed his condolences which was indeed a sensitive moment.
