Under Joint Opposition top ten programme, complaint to Bribery commission to probe into Thalatha's 1500 million misappropriation of funds.

It is reported that against the allegation of misappropriating a sum of rupees million one thousand five hundred against the Minister of foreign employment Bureau Thalatha Athukorale and the Chairman of the foreign employment bureau a complaint has been lodged by the members of the joint opposition at the bribery commission

urging to make a full investigation.

It is learnt that this allegation has been made for misappropriation this sum of rupees one thousand five hundred million from the insurance fund that had commenced from the 26th August 2015 for those who leave to middle east for employment,.This has been quipped by the member of parliament Niroshan Premaratne.This complaint has been made uner the top ten programme of the joint opposition.

This complaint has been made to the Bribery commission and the CID on the 07th instant.
