To attract tourists commence car races - Gamini Lukuge

In order to improve the tourist industry car races also should be brought back.This was added in Parliament yesterday by the Member of Parliament of the joint opposition Gamini Lokuge in parliament yesterday the 08th instant. He had quipped this during the debate of the budget.Adding further he had said that the
decision taken by the government to stock paddy at the Mattala International  airport was a wrong decision.

He had referred to the car races that took place in Colombo and Kandy during the era of the Mahinda Rajapaksa regime.This was however condemned as a wasteful exercise by many.
