Members of Uganda football team in accident as boat they traveled in capsized

It is reported that on the Christmas day the members of the Uganda's football team and some fans who had traveled in a  large boat had capsized. This large boat had carried 56 persons.

Foreign reports have said that 09 had died and 24 had gone missing after this unfortunate accident.The group of   football players and and fans  had been travelling in the boat to participate in

a football game Hoima district.

The large boat had been travelling across lake Albert reservoir had capsized owing to overloading and as there had been an imbalance as on one side there had been more passengers.

After the mishap 09 dead bodies have been recovered while 21 persons had been saved by relief groups.It is reported that the majority of them had been intoxicated.Among the dead bodies recovered there had been members of the football team but still the exact numbers have not been identified.
