Inquiry about DIG who pushes servant boy into the luggage carrier and closing it!

A certain incident that was captured by camera last Friday in the town of Matale has gone to the extent of creating a sensation.

In this instance a senior police officer is seen engaging a child in domestic labour activities and when the latter purchased items from the shop is then pushed inside the luggage-carrier of the vehicle in an inhuman manner and then closed, which incident has been captured on camera. It is seen at one glance that this child is a
minor not permitted to be employed in domestic-work. 

The complaint in this instance has being directed to Senior Police Superintendent of Matale Mr. I.B.T. Sugathapala, and inquiries have already commenced in this respect. Information has been revealed that the suspect who indulged in this type of activity is a DIG who knowing the law about employing and treating domestic hands very well, is a resident of Dambulla area. It was a media reporter who was inside a three-wheeler parked in the town who clicked the photograph on seeing the vehicle concerned near the Matale clocktower on Friday.
