From the 1st of next month Yellow lines would be white at all pedestrian crossings

It is reported that according the belief of the international all yellow markings in the pedestrian crossings would be painted in white from the 1st of December.

Accordingly as the fisrt phase of this exercise all pedestrial crossing in the Colombo municipal limit roads would be painted in white by the engineers of the traffic unit of the council.It has  been

commenced by changing the yellow lines in front of the Western Provincial educational office into white.

Reports reaching from the ministry of transport revel that subsequently  the changing of the colours from yellow to white would be done under the guidance  of the officials of the transport ministry and road development authority.
